We live to deliver the highest quality alpaca yarn

The Lavender Sweater is knitted from the top down. First, the back is worked. Then, stitches are picked up along the shoulders of the back for the left and right front pieces. Both front pieces are first knitted separately in back-and-forth rows and then joined together. Next, the front and back pieces are joined, and the body is knitted in the round. The sleeve stitches are picked up from the armholes, and the sleeves are knitted in the round. Finally, the neckline is edged with a knitted I-cord over 3 stitches.

's "Lavendel " is designed with a generous and comfortable oversized fit.

Depending on the size chosen, this sweater has an extra width of approximately 30–36 cm. For the largest sizes, the extra width was intentionally reduced slightly to maintain the proportions of the design.

Choose your usual size to get the intended fit. If you'd like a sweater that looks less oversized, you might want to consider knitting it one size smaller.

13 stitches × 20 rows = 10 × 10 cm in stockinette stitch using a 7 mm circular needle, measured after washing and blocking.

  • 7 mm circular knitting needle (60 and 80 cm)
  • 6 mm circular needle (40 cm) for the I-cord you’ve started knitting
  • 5 mm circular knitting needle for the ribbed cuffs
  • Optional: a set of double-pointed needles or a long circular needle for the Magic Loop technique
  • Stitch Markers and Stitch Holders
